Brush Stroke Shader - Maya Arnold Painterly 2D-3D Effect

Hi everyone !

WARNING BEFORE YOU BUY :

This is not a plug and play shader, this effect is not a production-ready tool or anything, just a tips and tricks to make some cool 3D-2D effects using basic tools of Maya 2023.2 - Arnold 5.2.0 and Adobe Substance 3D Painter 8.3.1 (be careful about software versions). This approach can work with any Render Engine.

THIS PRODUCT INCLUDES :

• Scene files of my Artstation project
• SubstancePainter scene

• .MP4 file - 30 mins tutorial of advanced Lookdev / Shading techniques to show how to make it from scratch. (I don't comment, only video recording)
• Lookdev setup scene for Arnold
• Brush Alphas and brush tileable maps for stylized look

I'm not using any code or specific program. Only Maya and Arnold basic tools to achieve this look. You can all make it work and you can make your own 2D-3D painterly look (Spiderverse, TMNT, Puss In Boots, ...) .
